A Body Liberation Approach to Eating Disorder Recovery
Welcome! My name is Angelina (she/her), and it's been my honor to work with people recovering from eating disorders for the last decade. I have spent these years committed to best practices for eating disorders, which means having a deep knowledge of the clinical evidence base, as well as a fat-liberationist, LGBTQ+ affirming, antiracist, and disability-justice approach to healing. As an integrative, relational therapist, the modalities I draw from include FBT, ERP, emotionally-focused therapies, mindfulness, self-compassion, and somatics. I work frequently with the issues that co-occur with EDs, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and relationship challenges. I have additional specialization in chronic illness and disability, and a particular focus on working with Jewish clients and families.
